Congratulations Maitre M’Baye, Woman of Courage

IRA  congratulates Maitre Fatimata M’Baye, celebrated as a “Woman of Courage” in Mauritania. M’Baye is pictured here, holding the award plaque, at the U.S. embassy award ceremony with U.S. Ambassador to Mauritania, Larry Andre. Maitre M’Baye has worked throughout her career to advance human rights in Mauritania. She is president of the Association Mauritanienne des droits de l’homme. She is also a current nominee for the global Woman of Courage award.
